    This is a workshop course in the writing and editing of short fiction. Students will write and submit two short stories (1,500-5,000 words each). They will also edit and discuss stories by other workshop members, complete a major exercise in stylistic editing, and read and discuss stories from the assigned text.

    This is a workshop course for students wishing to work on a television script in Movie-Of-The-Week form, or for an original series, including the development of a 'series bible.' It also offers an opportunity to develop a MOW as a 'back-door pilot' from which a series could be 'spun off'.
